Course Content: This all day course will explore the outer reaches of Les Trois Vallées ski domain. It's the perfect time of year to enjoy the magical experience of 'corn/spring' snow and enjoy skiing all over the valleys. Our team of coaches not only know where to find the very best snow but also where it is at specific times of the day. They will move around the mountain finding the best pitches and terrain as the sun softens the snow and this makes for an amazing ski experience. Dates: 7 January 2012; 4 February 2012
Skill level: Good intermediates/advanced/experts
Course Content: Mainly piste based, this course will move your skiing onto the next level. Fed up with mundane, uninspiring instruction? Stuck at the same level and never improving? Our coaches work on your technical skills on an individual basis in small groups - it's this attention to detail allied with regular video analysis that makes the difference. If you want to ski well in all conditions you must have a solid technical basis. The truth is, if the technical skills are not automatic, your performance breaks down when the conditions get more difficult (powder/bumps/ steeps). This course focuses specifically on your technique with a wide variety of skills and drills to develop your performance.

We run adult race training in the autumn in Kaprun and ran a pilot trip in Courchevel last March. It was very successful and we believe it's one of the best ways of improving your skiing. Not only that it's exhilarating and great fun. We have two types of courses and they are run along these lines.
Race Training: Level 1

Regular video is a feature of this programme with a specific focus on your ability of carve the ski accurately.

Dates: 7 April 2012
Skill level: Good short turns on red runs
Course Content: This course is specific to bump skiing and the focus will be on the development of controlling your speed and line in the moguls. To achieve this goal the coach will develop your leg/foot turning skills in narrow corridors. We then take this into the bump fields. Once we are able to control the speed in the bumps, we begin to work on our 'range of movement' in your legs which allows the skier to ski a more direct and fluent line. Although we spend much of the time in the bumps - the skill development on piste is equally important and our instructors use a varied array of drills, to achieve this.
