Courchevel in Les Trois Vallees

On the border of La Vanoise national park, Courchevel looks out to Monte Bianco, the Italian face of Mont Blanc. This is a multi level resort in the heart of the Three Valleys ski area that offers over three hundred acres of mountain entirely dedicated to all types of winter sports and with access to six hundred kilometers of marked piste, not to mention the ten thousand hectares of off-piste skiing.

Located at the centre of the Savoie Alpes, Courchevel sits in the most easterly of the Three Valleys and outside of Paris, this mecca for the rich and famous, boasts the highest real estate prices in France. The resort is really four seperate villages, named for their approximate elevations – Le Praz 1300, 1550, 1650 and 1850, and with La Tania adjoining each offers a very different image and feel.

The Courchevel Valley alone boasts a staff of over five hundred people who work around the clock to guarantee that you’ll be able to enjoy the quality of the ski area that has made the resort’s reputation.

It's the largest in the region complete with a sixty six ski lift system, over one hundred downhill runs and a total length in excess of one hundred and fifty kilometers. Ski down the Courchevel pistes in perfect safety, with sixty-five gazex and four catex avalanche-release systems preventing any risk of avalanche.

Boasting some of the most reliable snow conditions in the French Alps, Courchevel seasons are longer and more reliable than surrounding destinations.

The resort's nightlife, particularly in 1850, is akin to St. Tropez with a variety of bars and restaurants to choose from ranging from gourmet French Michelen starred cuisine to takeaways of all descriptions.

The stations are a hub of other non skiing activities throughout the season and are all easily accessible because the resort provides a free bus service.
