To assist us in placing our guests in the most appropriate level of ski class we email you a Ski Level Form in advance of your holiday (this is issued at the same time as your invoice and Ski Equipment Hire Form).
We ask you to self assess the ski level of everyone in your group and return it to Tracey in the UK office.
Here are the levels:
ADULT LEVELS
Ski Level 1: Never been on skis before (either on snow or on a plastic ski slope).
Ski Level 2: I have tried before, can turn but struggle to control my speed - virtually a beginner but understand a snowplough.
Ski Level 3: I can snowplough turn on green runs. Skis are in a snowplough most of time.
Ski Level 4: I can ski confidently on blue runs. Skis are sometimes parallel but revert to snowplough when it's steeper and narrower.
Ski Level 5: I ski on red runs when the conditions are good. However, when it's steep and bumpy or deep snow, I may struggle. Technical input is required.
Ski Level 6: I can ski any red run and get down blacks, provided they are not too steep and bumpy.
Ski Level 7: I can ski everywhere and have lots of experience. Blacks are no problem and I enjoy testing myself off-piste.
KIDS LEVELS
Rookie: This is my first time. Exciting!!!
Rookie Plus: I can snowplough or make a "Pizza" shape, but can't turn yet.
Arrows: I can ski green runs easily, use the drag lift and have tried a blue run.
Racers: I can ski blue runs fast and come down red runs.
Racers Plus: I go anywhere! You may be interested in our Kids Race Academy
