Guest feedback

The 2011/12 ski season has got off to a great start with loads of snow and excellent teams in resort looking after our guests. Here's some of the feedback we've had so far:

Chalet Rosalie – Faith & Patch are excellent – they made us welcome and looked after us brilliantly. Nothing was too much trouble.

Chalet Yale – Meals were exceptional. Very well done Taite. Both chef and host were very welcoming and we were very well looked after by Morven in the chalet.

Chalet Roger – Louise, Melinda and Nikolai were brilliant, great team who have added to a very positive experience. Great cooking and excellent hosting.

Chalet Elise – Donna’s food was fantastic and flexibility with the kids appreciated. Kate is a really friendly and accommodating host.

Chalet Nicola – Really impressed by friendliness of Kev and Lauren. Friendly, welcoming and very attentive Food was fantastic, Lauren is a wonder.

Chalet Corrie Blanc - Steph was brilliant as ever (we had her last year). Rob is an excellent chef, every meal was superb and he’s so cool!

Clair Andrews (Resort Manager) – Fantastic staff and service – 5 stars. All chalet staff are first class – Clair is an excellent Resort Manager. Excellent all round service, couldn’t ask for more.

Blake Williams (Ski Tech/Instructor) – Blake filled me with confidence as a technician when he was fitting me out, was really helpful and patient. First time with Blake – an excellent ski instructor.

Mark Grant (Handyman/Driver) – My guide was Mark on the snowboard. I thoroughly enjoyed the day and found him patient and encouraging, good company and an excellent guide.

Chris (Handyman/Driver) – When we had an injury on the slopes Chris’ help and patience were greatly appreciated.

We are just back from our week in Courchevel and had another great holiday. Snow conditions were excellent and we were very well looked after in the Chalet and at lessons as usual. (Paul Mullan, Chalet Roger, Feb 2012)

Just a quick note to say thanks for a great trip last week! Freddie and I had a fab time - needless to say he was a lot better than me with the skiing and is now hooked. Our instructor, Tom, was brilliant and had Freddie on a couple of reds, a black and some off piste as well so he certainly packed it in for a first-ever week. Chalet Roger was great, as were Louise, Nikolai and Melinda – we loved the evening meals and, in my case, the fact that you could have as much wine as you wanted - oops. A definite plus, to go with those necessary Kir Royales. I think skivo2 really scores with the instruction and the ski equipment, in the sense that Blake filled me with confidence as a technician when he was fitting me out, was really helpful, patient etc etc and the two guys who taught us were really patient but moved us on quickly, no-nonsense etc. Also loved the resort and appreciated the fact that it’s a great place to learn. In addition to the feedback form I left in Corrie Blanc last week, I just wanted to let you know directly that we all had an absolutely fantastic time last week. Just writing to let you know that you have a fantastic chef (Donna) at Chalet Elise in Courchevel – she catered fantastically to our veggie diets and managed to give me a whole week of food free from goats cheese! (Mel Tomkings, Chalet Elise, Feb 2012)

Dear Tracey, It was so good to meet you in Le Praz last week. We all had a wonderful time, as we walked throught the village on the first night to Chalet Nicola to get our skis I thought I’d died and gone to heaven! Le Praz is so beautiful, the conditions were so wonderful, the chalet comfortable, the staff welcoming and helpful, the food delicious, the skiing instruction so helpful, I honestly think it was the best skiing holiday I’ve ever had and we all enjoyed ourselves hugely. Please can I do the same as I did this year and make a provisional booking for 2013 (to be confirmed when you go to press) right now? With every good wish, and thanks to everyone at skivo2. Hi Tracey, You'll be in France now and glad that we saved you all that snow! This is just to say that we had a great week. I had a fantastic time in Courchevel over the last three weeks, powder snow for the first week and then sun and good snow for the remainder. Was a bit tough to leave on Saturday with all the snow that had fallen the night before! The food in all the chalets was great, including Yale where Tait cooked us some lovely meals. Would you pass on our thanks to the chalet staff and note our positive feedback of the chalet, staff and everything else in connection with our holiday. Once again we had a fantastic skiing holiday courtesy of skivo2. The food was fab, the chalet was 1st class and Patch and Faith were very obliging and great chalet hosts. . The snow was great and there was certainly plenty of it - probably a bit too much too quickly. But the conditions were lovely. Just a quick thank you once again for a fantastic holiday. As ever, we seem to take snow with us and what a week it was. Great snow, great lessons and great accommodation. Thanks very much for yet another perfect ski week. I don't know how skivo2 manages to give such good value for the cost. The food (Rob the chef) was amazing and the hospitality (Steph the hottest hostess) was warm, fun and efficient. Lessons with Izzy were hilarious and helpful. Just wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we all had last week in Yale. The chalet, staff (I have to say Chef Tait is a fantastic find!) and of course the fantastic snow all led to a brilliant week. The team in Chalet Nicola were the best. It all went so well I couldn't believe it. Lauren (what a darling) and Kev(in) were so good. I had a really, really good holiday, The best I have had with skivo2 - the snow was plentiful and every day was different. I learned a lot. I am looking forward my March holidy with skivo2 immensely. We had a great week in Le Praz last week in Chalet Nicola. Many thanks to Kevin and Lauren in the chalet for looking after us so well and the rest of the skivo team in Le Praz for a great weeks skiing.
