2012/13 ski season
We had a very good holiday. Please thank Donna for the fabulous food in the Elise. She's so patient and even coped with a different order per person at breakfast! She and Ellen looked after everyone so well. Thanks also to Georgie for the lessons- fab in spite of the nerves. Who can we thank for the snow? The best for years. We had a brilliant lesson one day round the trees in the powder. As always with Skivo2, it was lovely to go back to known places and be seen as known faces. Hi Dave, just a quick thank you for such a great holiday , we were among the Duffy party of 15 , and had the best new year we have had in years . The snow conditions were amazing , I realise you didn't have anything to do with that !! , the instructors were great , we all really enjoyed our afternoon lessons , and picked up a few great tips as well as loosing some old bad habits . The chalet was comfortable and warm , and we were well looked after, I can see why Alice and family have been coming for years. Hope we will all be up for it again next year. I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone, we had another fantastic holiday in Le Praz with all the familiar faces and a few new. All 3 families loved it so many thanks to everyone. I expect you won't yet have next year's diary in hand but I would just like to provisionally put our group of 15 down for next New Year again if possible for Chalet Roger (it's the only one big enough!!)? Fantastic!! All four of us had a fantastic Christmas together, with the lads being away at Uni now our time together is scarce so even more precious. skivo2 allows us to enjoy every minute with little stress (apart from that caused as a result of our inadequate skiing skills!!!). Thank you all so much for providing us with the opportunity to have this experience. From the minute we leave Scotland we are reassured we are on holiday, being met by reliable transfer people, greeted by welcoming, efficient, extrememly professional Host (Simon) and chef (Sarah), Susan, Blake and the Ski instructors providing another fantastic carefree holiday. Hi Tracey, Thanks for organising the holiday - it was super and we had a lovely time in the chalet, the other family were great fun and Julian and Nicola looked after us superbly (food delicious). We were obviously very impressed with the quality of the instruction and I was lucky enough to have Dave B himself, and made a huge improvement in my skiing. Just a wee message to say a massive thank you to all of you who made our holiday so fabulous. We all had the best time ever skiing, the conditions were superb, the accommodation so comfortable, the instruction was brilliant, the food and chalet service exemplary…… Even the lovely Parkes family made our stay very special helping us out with their superior local knowledge. The kids got on so well in their own wee group with Dave, and Pat had Dave and I laughing all the time in our group. Rob and Ailsa were great, and Susan was there when we needed her; Judith came home with a plaster on her forearm, and she is recovering well, and at least she only missed the last afternoon. We are looking into when it would be best for us to join you again next season, we’ve all been skivo-smitten, so fingers crossed, and keep us informed. 2011/12 ski season

Just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful time skiing recently. Thank you for all your help and efficiency in our booking. We had some great snow, some lovely sunshine and plenty of good skiing. Once again we all felt that skivo2 looked after us really well and that standards of customer service are being maintained! Charlotte was thrilled to have 4 hours of 1:1 tuition with Pat during the first couple of days. We also felt that Taite was a superb chef and produced probably the best food we have ever had (despite him being very poorly during the week). Tom was a terrific instructor with a good sense of humour and good teaching technique and both myself and our sons enjoyed his lessons and felt that we improved. I just thought I would drop you a quick note to thank you both for organising such a fantastic holiday. Brian has always raved about the skivo2 experience and he was certainly not wrong! I was discussing with Susan and the kids and we all agree that it was the perfect holiday. There will be no more summer holidays for us... we have well and truly caught the ski bug. Just a quick note to say thanks for a great trip last week! Freddie and I had a fab time - needless to say he was a lot better than me with the skiing and is now hooked. Our instructor, Tom, was brilliant and had Freddie on a couple of reds, a black and some off piste as well so he certainly packed it in for a first-ever week. Chalet Roger was great, as were Louise, Nikolai and Melinda – we loved the evening meals and, in my case, the fact that you could have as much wine as you wanted - oops. A definite plus, to go with those necessary Kir Royales. I think skivo2 really scores with the instruction and the ski equipment, in the sense that Blake filled me with confidence as a technician when he was fitting me out, was really helpful, patient etc etc and the two guys who taught us were really patient but moved us on quickly, no-nonsense etc. Also loved the resort and appreciated the fact that it’s a great place to learn. Dear Tracey, It was so good to meet you in Le Praz last week. We all had a wonderful time, as we walked throught the village on the first night to Chalet Nicola to get our skis I thought I’d died and gone to heaven! Le Praz is so beautiful, the conditions were so wonderful, the chalet comfortable, the staff welcoming and helpful, the food delicious, the skiing instruction so helpful, I honestly think it was the best skiing holiday I’ve ever had and we all enjoyed ourselves hugely. Please can I do the same as I did this year and make a provisional booking for 2013 (to be confirmed when you go to press) right now? With every good wish, and thanks to everyone at skivo2. I had a fantastic time in Courchevel over the last three weeks, powder snow for the first week and then sun and good snow for the remainder. Was a bit tough to leave on Saturday with all the snow that had fallen the night before! The food in all the chalets was great, including Yale where Tait cooked us some lovely meals. Thanks very much for yet another perfect ski week. I don't know how skivo2 manages to give such good value for the cost. The food (Rob the chef) was amazing and the hospitality (Steph the hottest hostess) was warm, fun and efficient. Lessons with Izzy were hilarious and helpful. The team in Chalet Nicola were the best. It all went so well I couldn't believe it. Lauren (what a darling) and Kev(in) were so good. I had a really, really good holiday, The best I have had with skivo2 - the snow was plentiful and every day was different. I learned a lot. I am looking forward my March holidy with skivo2 immensely.
