A superb traditional style chalet situated in the heart of the village only 200 meters from the lift station.
Chalet Roger is built to exacting specifications making it ideal for skiing enthusiasts. Boasting over 4,300ft of floor space it is situated about fifty metres from the bottom of the slopes. Built to extremely high standards with en-suite facilities in all rooms. The large lounge and dining area has large comfortable settees and an open log fire. The dining area comfortably seats over twenty people. Shops, bars, and restaurants are all within a minutes walk.
Access to our chalets on arrival day is from 15:00hrs onwards. If you arrive earlier you are welcome to deposit your luggage in the garage/hallway and then explore the local area. There is a free ski bus which connects the Courchevel villages.
On departure day please vacate your bedroom by 10:00hrs. If you wish to ski on your day of departure you are then welcome to use an area in the chalet to change out of your ski gear at the end of skiing.

Location
Chalet Roger is set in the middle of Le Praz giving excellent access to local amenities. It is just over a a two minute walk to the gondola station from the chalet. At the end of they day you can ski across the lakeside area straight back to the road which is less than 50 metres from the chalet.
Staff
Chef, commis chef and host. There is staff accommodation (not necessarily for the Roger staff) in the basement of the chalet.
Chalet Parking
Please note that we do not have allocated parking spaces at our chalets. We have a limited number of parking spaces in resort and parking spaces are reserved strictly on a first booked basis. You may be allocated a parking space at another chalet. If all parking spaces have been allocated you can book a parking space at The Alpinium in Le Praz (covered, payable parking and subject to availability). A chalet parking space should be requested at the time of paying your holiday deposit. Your chalet parking space will be reserved from early evening on your day of arrival until late afternoon on your day of departure (as the majority of guests driving choose to ski on their departure day). If you arrive earlier and your parking space is still occupied by departing guests (and no other skivo parking space is available) then we invite you to park at The Alpinium for the day.
We made some changes to our catering services prior to the 2019/20 season. This has now been tweaked slightly and will continue into the forthcoming seasons. This change is industry-wide and is in line with other ski operators.

- Our staff have 2 days off (when rooms are not serviced).
- Breakfast for 7 days (5 catered / 2 self-service) consisting of cooked eggs, yoghurt, porridge, fresh fruit juice, fresh bread with a selection of jams and honey, fresh fruit bowl, local hams and cheeses, freshly brewed filter coffee or tea – full cooked breakfast on one morning.
- When you return from the slopes in the afternoon a homemade cake or biscuits awaits, along with fresh baguettes, jams and conserves and a selection of soft cheeses. Hot chocolate is also available to help yourself too each day and a pot of warming vin chaud will be available on one afternoon when you return from skiing - please heat up and enjoy with a slice of delicious cake

Hi Dave, As one of the party of seventeen in Chalet Roger and first time traveller with skivo, I would just like to thank you for the experience. The organisation, staff, food and lessons made last week perhaps my most memorable trip to The Alps. We all had a brilliant week and, whether you like it or not, you will very probably be seeing us again in 2024. As well as others who will be recommended the company! The location of the chalet near the gondola was terrific, as were the team of 3 who ran it, super food and wine (etc) and the village was big enough for the demands of our night life (but not too much). It made a massive difference dealing with a small, personal team for our late booking. We couldn’t compare it to being with a large ski company spread across lots of resorts. Hi Tracey. I hope you had a good trip back and also enjoyed your holiday. We had a great week with skivo – my eighth, but the first for my wife and her two friends, and also for the lovely group of people with whom we shared Chalet Roger. The entire skivo team looked after use fantastically well; nothing was too much trouble and Bogie’s cooking was superb. The lessons were really good and, of course, we had amazing weather and snow. We’re all looking forward, though, to a skivo trip in 2024. Many thanks for all your help. It was really nice to meet you.
