Our chalet programme is
very similar to last year with one exciting addition, we've secured
Chalet Roger, a ten bedroom (twenty-two person) fully en suite chalet
situated in the middle of Le Praz and only three minutes from the gondola
station. This means we are able to offer en suite facilities in all

Our chalets are all selected to provide only the most comfortable accommodation. We want your skivo2 holiday to be the most enjoyable you have ever had and the quality of your accommodation plays a crucial part in achieving this goal.
We are delighted that our portfolio now provides en suite facilities in all of the chalets. They all have something unique and special to offer but most importantly, they are all homely and benefit from experienced, approachable staff and a welcoming atmosphere..
When you arrive our hosts will meet you and ensure you are settled. In the early evening, they provide nibbles and aperitifs and will be happy to answer any questions you may have about the resort, the skiing, snow conditions and much more.
Before your evening meal on four evenings, you are served pre-dinner drinks with mouth watering canapés being offered on Sunday and Friday. After dinner on Fridays you can enjoy a speciality cheeseboard with fresh fruit and port.
Unlimited red and white wine is provided each evening and freshly brewed filter coffee or tea is served with after dinner chocolates.
Supported by the chalet host, your accommodation will always be spotlessly clean and well organised. As standard there will be two pillows for every guest, duvets, bath and hand towels, fresh flowers, a fruit bowl and the dedicated service of skivo2 staff and managers.
All of our are equipped with television, ipod docks, CD and DVD players so please feel free to bring along a personal selection of music and films.
The chalets have a no smoking policy, however, ashtrays are provided on balconies and exterior areas where appropriate
Cuisine
Each chalet has two staff and our chalet chefs are either fully qualified chefs, hold diplomas from highly regarded cookery schools or have years of cooking experience - which is a pre-requisite of their contract.
Throughout your stay our chefs focus on ensuring that you have adining experience comparable to that of a top quality restaurant. They will unfailingly produce high quality, delicious meals for you to enjoy after an energetic day on the slopes and will go out of their way to make each meal memorable.
The day starts with breakfast and consists of tea and freshly brewed coffee, fruit juice, eggs, yoghurt, porridge, cereals, fresh baguettes, jams and honey. Additionally, a variety of eggs will be offered through the week with a full cooked breakfast on one day per week. When you return from the slopes in the afternoon a homemade cake awaits, along with fresh baguettes, jams and conserves and a selection of soft cheeses. Hot chocolate or vin chaud will also be offered on several afternoons.
Dinner is the ‘piece de resistance’ when you can enjoy a wonderful three course meal, along with an unlimited supply of quality red and white wines. For dinner enjoy dishes such as Thai sweet potato and coriander soup to start followed by pork fillet with pepper and olive tapenade on a bed of parmesan mash served with sautéed asparagus and broccoli. Will you then have space for caramelised pineapple tartlet with crème fraiche? Fresh coffee and chocolates follow.
Our staff are happy to offer a hearty and nourishing “Kids Tea” at around 18.00hrs each evening, under the supervision of at least one adult in the party. This must be pre-booked. We are happy to cater for and accommodate any specific dietary requirements or allergies. Please let us know well in advance so we can ensure that your chef is aware of this and can provide accordingly.

Premier Service Chalets
Three of our chalets, Elise, Jardins de Rosalie and the new Corrie Blanc have been accredited with Premier Service status due to the high quality of accommodation on offer.
In our premier service chalets we offer everything that our standard chalets do plus that little bit extra.
Why not enjoy a full cooked breakfast each morning? Or your chef will be happy to accommodate if you prefer something else. Enjoy a glass or two of chilled sparkling wine along with some scrumptious canapés on six evenings before moving on to the main feast – a delicious three course dinner followed by a speciality cheeseboard with fresh fruit and port. Specially chosen top quality red, white and rosé wines are also served each evening.
Additionally, each bedroom is supplied with a hairdryer and extra soft, fluffy bath and hand towels. Wi-fi internet access is provided free of charge in all of our premier service chalets.
Exceptional Staff
We are proud of skivo2’s reputation for the friendly and efficient disposition of our staff. We take a lot of time recruiting and are well aware that without good people in the chalets it is impossible to offer quality service. We generally employ staff a little older than the average and all our staff go through a rigorous pre-season training course - ensuring they are all familiar with our guest expectations. We have two staff in each chalet and they are selected not only for their cooking and hosting skills, but also for their lively personalities. They really are one of our greatest assets and we value their contribution greatly.
Our chalet staff enjoy one day off each week and on this day breakfast and a home-baked cake will be laid out for you in your chalet the night before. A fresh delivery of baguettes, croissants and pain au chocolat will be made by the local bakery in the morning. You will have the opportunity to sample some of the local fayre at one of the Savoyarde restaurants or alternatively try out the local pizzerias. Your chalet hosts will be happy to make recommendations and to arrange this for you.
