Ski coaching toward BASI Qualifications
BASI - The British Association of Snowsport Instructors is the governing body responsible for the training and grading of British Instructors. There are three BASI grades and a BASI qualification allows you to teach anywhere in the world, including Europe, New Zealand and the Americas.
Whilst you have to be qualified at BASI level 2 for teaching in France, you can work elsewhere with a BASI level 3. Once you have succeeded at Instructor level you can find employment in Europe or elsewhere. This is where BASI has the edge over the American, Canadian and New Zealand qualifications which are not recognised in Europe.
skivo2 have been developing British skiers since 1988 and our SPC and performance courses have become increasingly popular with skiers. Run by trainers and highest grade ski teachers our staff really do deliver results at all levels, whether a budding BASI Level 3 or require Euro Test training.
The Fast Track Instructor Course
The most comprehensive Training Programme leading to the BASI Level 2 Qualification.
Level 1 is the entry qualification, Level 2 is open to students who have successfully completed Level 1.
The course will be of interest to students on a gap year or people looking for a career change, however, the main personal quality required is desire to get as much as possible from the programme to succeed. Mountain Lodge is an exciting facility targeted at skiers who want to train over a ten week period to become a qualified British Ski Instructor. This training programme is open to skiers with the ability to ski red runs comfortably.
The Cost of the course is £6,000 and includes
