Performance ski coaching

skier during training toward Basi level 2 instructor qualification

Are you stuck on the intermediate plateau and want to move your sking to the next level?

If you answered yes then our courses are for you! As your skiing improves - suddenly your ability to ski bumps, ice and off-piste improves!

Our SPC performance programme has proven very successful. The course is longer than our normal skivo2 sessions although the teaching philosophy remains the same. These longer sessions allow instructors to spend more time developing your skiing whilst exploring the wider Three Vallees ski area.

Major changes in ski technology, wider, shorter skis with deep side cut have revolutionised skiing and our coaches will help you master the potential of these amazing tools.

All day courses for intermediates, advanced and expert skiers.

So what type of skier would enjoy and benefit from an SPC course?

Anyone who has a passion to improve their skiing will enjoy the sessions. The term 'Performance Course' may suggest highly technical ski sessions - but nothing could be further from the truth. Our instructors don't work this way. They are some of the best coaches around, not only in terms of skiing ability but also in their communication skills and motivational ability. If you ski well on the piste and want to improve off, we will help you. If you ski well in small bumps but want to ski better in bigger then we can teach you how. There are a variety of SPC courses during the season, the All Mountain Terrain course being the most popular.

This season, in addition to our usual range of performance courses, we are co-hosting the Fast Track Instructor Course where skiers can undertake a three month gap course with a very specific focus of working toward BASI ski instructor qualifications. This course is aimed at people who have a real enthusiasm, to improve their skiing and to teach skiing in the future. If you have this passion for both skiing and teaching write to either Dave Morris or myself with a quick resume and saying why you want to be part of this unique programme. info@mountainlodge.co.uk
