Kids performance courses
You want your children to get the best possible ski coaching, and now you’ve found it.
The all new skivo2 Kids Academy is the next step! Aimed at stronger skiers, already capable of skiing parallel on red runs, we have developed a system which allows children to further develop their skills and ability levels.
We offer all groups high quality coaching within a sound structure which gives a fun experience and creates the conditions for children to develop quickly.
The skivo2 Kids training programme already has an excellent track record in developing ski instructors and champion skiers eg: Gregory Samuels current British Boarder Cross Champion and Natalie Beattie current Children’s Slalom and Giant Slalom Scottish Champion.
When it comes to kids, our coaches are simply the best around!
There are two types of course available;
All Mountain Ski Skills
Sunday 4 hours - Warm up with skills
and drills & introduction to the snowpark
Monday 4 hours - Introduction to slalom using gate training brushes.
Tuesday 4 hours - Freeride & off-piste in safe and controlled environment
Wednesday - Day off with family
Thursday 4 hours - Freeride, off piste and snowpark adventure in Meribel
Friday 4 hours - Including a fun race with prizes!
Race Course Programme
Sunday 4 hours - working on skills and drills
Monday 4 hours - with introduction to slalom skiing using training brushes
Tuesday 4 hours - skills and drills in the slalom with full gates/brushes
Wednesday - day off with family
Thursday 4 hours - freeski mountain skills (bumps, piste, steeper terrain)
Friday 4 hours - including fun race with prizes!
Course Dates: 19 December and 26 December 2009; 27 March, 3 April, 10 April 2010
Add £150 to standard skivo2 holiday cost if your child would like to join the Kids Academy.
