Courchevel & Public Transport Links
The nearest airports to Courchevel are Chambery, (110)km, Grenoble (130km), Geneva (150km) and Lyon St Exupery (187km)
All are accessible by public transport (bus routes and timetables below) and to the French rail network SNCF
Courchevel provides a free bus service that (during winter) connects
Courcheve;l 1300 to 1550, 1650 and 1850 every hour from 7am until 1.30
am.
This extends to every 10mins between 1850 and 1650, There is also an hourly
service connecting La Tania, St Bon and Bozel to all four of the Courchevel
levels. The time table is available for download. The service is reliable
and outside periods of extreme weather, generally runs on time.
During summer the service is less frequent (each hour from 8.40am until 11.30pm) however it does increase to half hourly from mid July - mid August.
Bus shuttle service from Moûtiers.
There is a regular (not free) bus service that runs between Courchevel 1850 and Moutiers Railway Station (10km) ; stopping at 1650, 1550, Le Praz 1300, La Tania, St Bon, La Periere and Brides Les bain en route.
Children under four travel free and kids between four and twelve travel at half price. The shuttle service runs daily excepting Sunday.
The bus station of Moutiers was created in 1992 for the Winter Olympic Games. It is one of 8 bus terminals of the Departement (Aime, Bourg-Saint-Maurice, Albertville, Moûtiers, Aix-les-Bains, Modane, Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne and Saint-Michel-de-Maurienne). Its role is to ensure transfers between the SNCF railway system and the resorts
