Michelin Restaurants in the Trois Vallees
>> The Courchevel good
bar guide
>> Other piste
and resort restaurants
Five Michelin starred restaurants nestling in the heart of the 3 Vallees resorts. Such a concentration of Michelin stars in one area is quite exceptional as it is, but being able to ski directly to these fames establishments, simply by following a piste, is something you can’t do anywhere else in the world! The surest way to make your skiing trip an unforgettable experience. And it would be a real shame not to sample their delights at least once during the winter, Don’t forget that they all offer ‘Menus Skieurs’ lunchtime set menus offering unbeatable value for money! Non skiers needn’t worry, all of these top five Michelin restaurants can be reached by conventional means.

Julien Machet – La Tania
Menu Skieur: 30 euros (drinks not included)
A typical Savoyarde restaurant with an appealing menu. Open noon and evenings,
terrace, access on skis. Chef born and raised locally finds inspiration
in his roots. The food here has gone very upmarket in recent years and now
includes a tasty menu for around 60 euros which goes on and on. This includes
lots of small, delicate portions with some unbelievable flavours. Some of
the dishes we've enjoyed are king prawns with scrambled egg, lamb medallions
on a bed a creamed carrots, local fresh water fish in cream and snails with
very strong garlic ice cream! Well worth a visit.
